Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

City Web Lab is operated by Car Trader Technologies Corp ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit cityweblab.com, contact us, submit a Facebook or Instagram inquiry form, or request our website services.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide through our website forms, email, messages or project inquiries. This may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, current website, project requirements, budget preferences and the contents of your communications.

Our website uses self-hosted WordPress and Fluent Forms to receive and store form submissions. We also use email to receive inquiries and communicate with you.

If you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta may offer to prefill your contact information. Please review it before submitting. We receive the information you submit to our business through that form.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers or other sensitive personal information through an inquiry form or ordinary email.

How we use information

We use your information to respond to inquiries and deliver the services you request. This includes understanding your website needs, discussing pricing and scope, preparing proposals, communicating about your project and providing technical support.

We do not use inquiry information for unrelated newsletters, unsolicited marketing campaigns or advertising audiences. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers and disclosures

We may share information with third-party providers when needed to deliver the services you request, such as providers supporting hosting, email or project delivery. We limit these disclosures to information relevant to the service being provided. Third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Those policies do not replace our responsibilities for the information we handle.

When you interact with us through Facebook or Instagram, Meta handles information on its services under the Meta Privacy Policy. This policy describes our handling of information we receive, not Meta’s independent handling of information on its platforms.

We may also disclose information when required by law or as necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.

Website functionality and external services

Our website does not embed third-party content. WordPress and form functionality may use technical information or cookies necessary to operate the website and process requests. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may affect website functionality.

If you follow a link to an external website or use a third-party service in connection with your project, that provider’s privacy policy governs its own handling of information.

Retention

We generally retain inquiry and service-related personal information for 30 days to one year, depending on the purpose of the record and whether it is held in active systems or backups. Backup copies may remain for up to one year as part of the backup-retention cycle.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it from active systems. Copies in backups may remain until those backups expire. We may retain particular records longer when required by law or necessary to resolve a legal claim.

Security

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not necessary for your inquiry or project.

Privacy requests

Send all privacy requests to support@cityweblab.com. You may ask about the personal information we hold about you, request access, correction or deletion, or ask us to stop following up about an inquiry. Where applicable law provides additional privacy rights, you may exercise those rights through the same email address.

We may need to verify your identity before responding. We handle requests in accordance with applicable law and may retain information where legally required or permitted. Deletion from active systems does not necessarily remove information immediately from retained backups or from a third-party platform’s independent records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the date above.
